Incredible! The Xbox One X Version Of Assassin’s Creed Origins Is So Detailed You Can See Even More Microtransactions
Sometimes, something astonishing happens in the world of technology. Something that just makes you sit back and say “Wow”.
Sometimes technology moves so fast that you just need to stop and take a second to appreciate just how far we’ve come. Today is one of those days.
Ubisoft have finally released the new Assassin’s Creed game on the new Xbox One X – and I know you won’t believe this, but it’s actually so detailed that you can see even more microtransactions than the PS4 version.
Talk about inspiring!
Thanks to the power of the Xbox One X, the most powerful games console ever built, Assassin’s Creed Origins players can zoom all the way in and see crisp, high definition microtransactions which weren’t even visible to the naked eye.
Incredibly, the Xbox One X doesn’t even slow down for a second while doing this. Not a single dropped frame. It even stays whisper-quiet while you’re browsing the store to see how many Helix Credits you want to spend!
Just to make sure, I put the PlayStation 4 Pro version of Origins back in for testing and fired it up. It was nice enough I guess, but once you’ve experienced the joy of microtransactions at this level, there’s simply no going back.
Using the PS4 pro’s chunky older hardware, the biggest amount of Helix Credits I was able to render on screen was 7400. But thanks to the power of the Xbox One X, I’m able to see other amounts which just weren’t visible before – 8500, 10,000, even 50,000 Helix Credits at once! Wow!
It’s so wonderful to see technology finally catching up to a developer’s vision for a game. Well done to Microsoft for stepping up and showing us what gaming can be!
