Nintendo “Strongly Considering” Manufacturing More Than One SNES Mini
After reviewing the excited reactions to its announcement of an upcoming SNES Mini console, Nintendo has indicated that there may be a strong case to manufacture more than a single one of them worldwide.
“We’re not ready to commit to anything just yet,” explained a Nintendo spokesperson.
“Our current plan is still to manufacture a single SNES Mini console, send it off to a randomised store somewhere in the world, and then destroy the manufacturing line so no more can ever be made.”
“Nothing has changed. But we are evaluating our options and are considering manufacturing two, three, or even as many as four SNES Mini consoles for our fans.”
The press conference was briefly interrupted by Shigeru Miyamoto, who leaned forwards to whisper in the spokesperson’s ear.
“Three consoles at most,” the spokesperson clarified.
