Hitman Announces Episodic Revisions To Their Episodic Price Structure
IO Interactive have proudly unveiled what they call a “revolution in game pricing communication”: episodic price structuring updates, where players will receive episodic instalments that update them on the eventual price of the game.
“This is great news for gamers and offers them unparalleled freedom in learning they way they want to learn,” explained IO Interactive’s spokesperson to Point & Clickbait.
“We launched our first pricing structure episode at E3 last year. Our players loved that. Then we moved onto our second episode, revealing a little bit more and changing some things. Players loved that too.”
“Our third episode — things are really getting interesting now. Players are going to love this. They can learn so much about how much our game will cost in this episode. They won’t want to miss this one.”
Point & Clickbait understands that IO Interactive have a few more episodes up their sleeve before this particular story arc is concluded.
“Our next instalment is a two-parter. We’ll have one pricing announcement one week, and then an immediate backflip a week later. Bam! Then a couple of months after that, well… spoiler warning, folks, but don’t put down any more pre-orders! That’s all I’m saying.”
Fans are thrilled by the announcement, saying that the constant chopping and changing is really helping them to build trust and faith in the eventual end product.
“I can’t wait to learn more about when I can next have the opportunity to learn more,” gushed one excited fan.
